Aim: To provide the students with an experimental knowledge of the basic optical components and their application for controlling amplitude, phase and polarization of light. |
Contents: Measuring and computer simulation of lens performance. Application of polarization and wavelenth dependent components. Diffraction and interference. During the course the student will be engaged with different light sources and detectors. |
