| Aim: To enable the students to establish statistical methods and to performe simple statistical calculations related to estimation-, regression- and test problems. |
| Contents: Multi-dimensional distributions. Moment generation functions. Estimation by the Moment Method and Maximum Likelihood Estimation. Confidence intervals. Conditional distributions. Multidimensional regression analysis. Tests of hyphoteses related to parameters in a single distribution. Tests of hyphoteses related to comparison of parameters. Tests of the distribution of a random variable (goodness of fit). |
