| Aim: To enable the students to design and analyse steel, timber and reinforced concrete beam structures in accordance with the Danish codes of practice. |
| Contents: Safety methods, ultimate and serviceability limit states. Steel structures, hot rolled and velded girders, velded and bolted connections. Timber structures, sawn and laminated beams, methods of connections. Reinforced concrete beams, analysis of cross sections, shear and bond, statically indeterminate beams. |
