Aim: To enable the students to plan and design parts of treatment plants according to quality and output demands (standards) and with a high degree of environmental and functional performance. |
Contents: Water supply: Evaluation of the quality of resource water (ground water and surface water) and of drinking water from waterworks.
Waste water: Amounts and composition. Mechanical, biological and chemical treatment plants. Purification demands and standards. Water quality demands and standards for recipients.
Sludge and Solid waste: Amounts and composition. Aerobic, anaerobic and chemical treatment. Quality demands (standards) for treated sludge and Solid waste. |
