Aim: To make the student able to choose the optimal combination of materials for mechatronics constructions, taking into consideration the demands of application, strength, environment, and production technique. |
Contents: Description of selected materials. Disintegration of materials, electrochemical cells, corrosion , protection against corrosion, surface treatment, electric contacts, and materials. Selected methods of assembling including glueing. Environment and aspects of environmental working conditions that should be taken into consideration as to choice of combinations of materials and methods of the manufacturing of apparatus.
