The course is presented as ordinary class lessons, experiments in a biomedical laboratory and computer simulations.

Aim: The aim of the course is to enable the students to understand:
* medical terminology and elementary concepts form the human anatomy and physiology.
* elementary health physics.
* the most used clinical instrumentation.
