Aim: The aim of the course is to enable the students to
- perform hardware and software installation for a local area network.
- supervise a network.
- understand the principles in an electronic network and to analyse the traffic in the net.
- program the workstations and the server in the network operating systems. |
Contents: Network commands.
Work with administrative programmes:
Creation of users, administration of users, supervising the system.
Installation of network interface cards, server, workstations, printers and software.
Analyse of the traffic on the network using a network analyser tool.
The different types of packets,
TCP/IP and IPX, SPX protocols. |
