Remarks: Each group will present the theoretical and practical work performed in a final report.
The evaluation (grading) will be based on the performed work, the presented report and an oral presentation/defence of the report. |

Aim: The course objective is
- to provide the students with an in-debth knowledge of design of Switch mode DC - to - DC converters.
- to enable the student to perform advanced analytical analysis of unknown converter topologies.
- to teach the students practical conciderations on how to design and build DC - to - DC converters. |
Contents: Design of magnetic components. Analysis and measurement of small-signal Transferfunction - Loop stability. Input- and output impedances. Slope-compensation. Filter design. EMC aspects.
Integrated Magnetics.
Presentation of principles for resonant convertertopologies.
Presentation of resent research results. Practical considerations w.r.t. construction of - and measurement on DC - to - DC converters. |
