| Aim: To enable the students to perform structural design of simple shearwall structures like multistory domestic buildings of prefabricated components. |
| Contents: Actions on building structures. Stability. Simple plate structures. Structural models for shearwall-buildings. Structural calculation and detailing of precast concrete wall and floor components, and of structural joints. Examples on shearwall building systems. |
