Aim: To enlarge and deepen the earlier acquired knowledge on structural properties and design of prefabricated buildings, also to include column-slab and column-beam-slab type buildings, and buildings of more complex nature. |
Contents: Presentation and interpretation of prefab building systems using concrete-components, with particular reference to column-slab/column-beam-slab type buildings. Issues include: Basis and provisions for static design. Design and technology details of components and connections. Applications of catalog-components. Earthquake-resistant design of prefab buildings. |
