Aim: To teach elementary laboratory methods , non-apparative methods and instrumental methods , of qualitative and quantitative analysis and to provide the students with basic knowledge of the chemistry of the elements. |
Contents: Analytical and inorganic chemistry, laboratory experiments and theory. Introduction to the chemistry in aqueous solutions of the most common elements. Theoretical and experimental knowledge of 40 elements are achieved through studies of their reactions. The students learn the identification methods of inorganic qualitative analysis. The quantitative analysis includes gravimetrical and volumetrical methods as well as instrumental methods ( potentiometry, UV/VIS and AAS ). |
