Aim: The course trains the student in combining several unit operations into more complex processes in order to satisfy specific needs. |
Contents: Specific tools teached as part of the course: mass and energy balance, flow sheeting, instrumentation (no control theory), P&I diagramming, economics of projects and operations. The unit operations of destillations are also covered. The course will focus actual existing cases. |
