| Aim: The aim of the course is to teach the students the application of physical chemistry to industrial processes. |
| Contents: Equation of states for real gases. Generalized methods for the determination of HR, SR and fugacity coefficients. Compressors, refrigerating plants and heat pumps. Liquefaction. Multicomponent phase equilibria. P-T, T-x, P-x and x-y diagrams. Calculation of activity coefficients. Thermodynamic process analysis. |
