Aim: To give the students a theoretical understanding of technology history which enables them to look at questions about the relationship between sciences, technology and society in a historical perspective, and to use this knowledge at present situations. |
Contents: To analyse and evaluate the relationship between the development of science, technology and society and the impact on environment and resources - and then to use this knowledge at present situations by lectures on the development of the steam engine and the history of Danish industry and transport 1750 - 1880. |
