Aim: To provide the student with a knowledge of the principles and methods used in a quatitative description of hydrocarbon reservoirs, so that the student should be able to understand and discuss geological data and interpretations in relation to exploration for and development of hydrocarbon reservoirs. |
Contents: Geology of the North Sea Basin, interpretation of well logs and core data, interpretation of seismic data, reserve estimates, description of reservoir rocks. |
