| Aim: To obtain advanced understanding of the environmental technologies applied in industry, and the background for the environmental technological solutions. The technological solutions are seen in combination with the possibilities for pollution prevention/cleaner technology. |
| Contents: Mass and energy balances. Technologies for handling liquid, solid and airborne wastes. Waste product design based on application of cleaner technologies and optimization of the waste composition and the amounts of waste. Environmental technologies in agroindustries (dairies, slaughterhouses). Environmental technologies in chemical industries/galvanoindustries. Assesment of industrial environmental activities; use of ressources and sustainability. Environmental accounting (green accounting). |
