| Aim: To enable students to analyse, evaluate, specify and test welding and related processes. |
| Contents: Processes for welding, cutting and brazing. Specification of welding parameters. Foundation for economy calculations. Accepted level of welding defects. Quality control for welding processes. Construction design and dimensioning of welded joints. Automation of welding. |
