Aim: To supplement the engineering background of the students with an understanding of leadership in an industrial enterprise and of the human and organizational aspects involved. After completing this course the students should be able to;
- explain the most important elements and functions of an organization,
- use this information to analyze simple organizational problems and to explain relevant criteria for evaluating the solutions,
- assess different criteria and methods for dealing with current managerial and organizational problems. |
Contents:
- Organizational structures; technological, administrative and social.
- the basic processes of the organization; decision making, communication, forming objectives and planning
- external and internal adaptation of the individual organizations; effectiveness in individual and group work etc. |
