Aim: The course aims at giving the students an understanding of planning, implementation and control of the product renewal process in an industrial company during identification of customer demands, product development and marketing. Apart from knowledge of the analytical models in product planning the course will aim at giving the students an understanding on how to identify and struture the elements of product planning and here also to be able to integrate these with the company's technical and commercial actiovties. |
Contents: Strategic analysis of the product programme and formulation of the product strategy. Market analysis. Management of the product innovation process with generation, evaluation and selection of product ideas, product definition, management of product development projects, quality, environmental, risk and economic management. Pricing. Testmarketing. |
