Aim: The course aims at giving the students an understanding of planning, implementation and control of the environmental activities in an industrial company during product development, production, production development and distribution. Apart from knowledge of structural elements in industrial environmental management, the course will aim at giving the students knowledge and skills enabling them to perform development and implementation of management systems and here also to be able to integrate these with the company's technical and commercial activities.
Contents: The concept of sustainable production and the forces behind. Strategic management and formulation of environmental strategies. The concept of quality management as a basis of environmental management. Design and implementation of environmmental management systems. Requirements specifications systems. Systems modeling. Certification and audit of environmental management systems. Green marketing - products, prices, labelling, communication.
