Aim: With a mathematical and physical basis, to analyse strength, stability and vibrations of different types of technically important stiffened plate and shell structures. |
Contents: Strength, stability and vibration analysis of unstiffened plates, stiffened plate panels, corrugated plates, sandwich plates, cell structures. Stiffened and unstiffened circular shells and spherical shells. The main emphasis is on the use of fundamental analytical methods for practical structures and providing physical knowledge of the mode of action of plate and shell structures. |
