Aim: To enable the students to construct small reliable digital systems by using programmable logic and simple microprocessor components. |
Contents: Analysis and synthesis of digital circuits.
Logic design by means of programmable logic. Application of design systems and logic-describing language. Design of reliable digital systems. Marginal design. Time analysis through search of critical transmission paths. Noise considerations. Interpretation of data sheets. Measuring equipment for digital systems. Principles for control of digital systems. Construction of a simple microprocessor system. |
