Aim: To introduce the student to relatively advanced circuit theory. The theory is illustated by application to elementary filter synthesis. |
Contents: Systematic calculation of system functions for linear, electrical systems. Inspection of circuit diagrams. Group delay, integral relations, Tellegen's theorem, reciprocal networks, adjoint networks, dual networks. Classical filterapproximations. Synthesis of system functions by cascading active biquads. Biquad's sensitivity to manufacturing tolerances of the components. |
