Aim: To enable the participants to construct software using systematic object oriented analysis, design and implementation techniques.
Contents: A series of lectures concerning methods for object oriented analysis and modeling of application domains, as well as methods for design of software and techniques for implementation. Especially the very popular line of actions, called the "Objectoriented Modeling Techniques" (OMT) is treated in all details. The object-oriented analysis includes: (1) Modeling static structures by specialization, aggregation, association, and more special object relations. (2) Models of dynamic aspects through scenarios, event sequences and state machines. (3) Modeling functional relations for example with data flow diagrams. A central part of the course is to carry out a project, in which the methods and techniques presented should be applied to a concrete problem.
