| Aim: To provide the students with insight into and experiences with programming at a level that is needed for development and modification of compilers, operating system kernels, and other basic software for a computer. The laboratory exercises that supplements the lectures have as their primary objective to build experience based on the students own investigations and programming. |
| Contents: Programs, interpreters. Processor architecture, instructions, addressing, assembly language, representation of elementary and composite datatypes, subroutines, parameters, I/O, multiprogramming. |
