Aim: To enable participants to design and construct reliable and very fast digital systems, both as development models in the laboratory and as finished products. |
Contents: Advanced-Schottky TTL. Emitter coupled logic ECL. GaAs technology. Gate arrays. Marginal design. Wiring and printed circuit techniques. High frequency measurement technique. High frequency incident and emitted radiation. Pipeline techniques. The course also contains exercises illustrating the different applied techniques and a development project within a current field of research at the institute carried out in pairs. |
