Aim: To make the student obtaining practical experience with the theoretical knowledge obtained in the courses 49201 (Circuit Theory) and 49205 (Analog and Digital Filters) by doing computer experiments on PC or Workstation with filter design, simulation and optimization programs. The course shall end up with a construction work. |
Contents: Realization and physical implementation of LC-, active RC- and digital filters. Tables, computerprograms and other aids in the construction of filters and signal processing circuits (MATLAB, LCP2, SPICE, FIST, FILTERMASTER etc.). Analog filter components. Equipment for the implementation of digital filters. Construction of a filter. |
