Aim: To provide the students with: 1) Understanding of technology and technological development as a result of and part of organizational and societal processes. 2) Understanding of the scope of management concepts with a departure in the engineer as one among many actors. 3) Knowledge about and understanding of descriptive and analytical methods of assessing technologies and their development. |
Contents: 1. Introduction to different problems related to the choice of technology and to the management of technological projects. 2. Technology management criteria. 3. Technology theories and concepts. 4. Technology management in a business perspective. 5. Technological change processes. 6. Technology management at institutional and governmental levels. 7. Methods and tools. |
