| Aim: To illustrate the possibilities and limitations of the theory from 36100 UNIT OPERATIONS OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING with experiments using process apparatus on half and whole engineering scale. |
| Contents: Execution and writing reports for a chosen set of practicals within the following areas: flow through pipes and fittings, flow through particle masses, heat transmission, distillation, absorption, extraction, heat and mass balances, simultaneous heat and mass transfer and unconventional separation processes. In the reports emphasis is placed upon an assessment of whether the results are reasonable or not seen in relation to the experimentally observed errors of measurement. |
