Aim: To familiarize participants with selection, design and operation of distillation and extraction processes and the use of computer aided methods for analysis of such processes.
Contents: Design of separation processes, in particular multicomponent distillation and liquid-liquid extraction. Analysis of separation processes, with particular emphasis on development and application of numerical, computer aiden methods. Sizing of separation processes and calculation of their consumption of energy and other separation agents.
