Aim: To experience the participants in how to employ computational tools for process simulation, optimization and design. To guide the students in the formulation, evaluation and usage of computational tools and models for optimization and simulation of chemical process systems. |
Contents: The following subjects will be covered: Process simulation and optimization. Generation of models for chemical process systems and usage of the same models for simulation and optimization. Commercially available computational programs will be described and employed. Industrial chemical engineering problems will be illustrated. |
