Aim: To introduce basic complex analysis as a tool for physical and technical applications in the other subjects available at DTU. |
Contents: Analytic functions, exponential function, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions and their inverse functions. Cauchy-Riemann equations. Cauchy's integral theorem. The fundamental theorem of algebra. Harmonic functions. Maximum principle. Power series, Laurent series. Residuals with applications. Linear differential equations. Conformal mappings. Simple applications are dealt with during the course. |
