Aim: To provide the student with a deeper insight in selected areas of biochemistry. To relate biochemistry to immunology and cytology.To present theoretical and practical background for analytical and preparative methods used in biochemistry. |
Contents: Protein biochemistry: Structure, folding, ligard interaktions, targeting, intracellular transport and degradation. Biological oxidation and de-toxification. Lipids and lipoproteins. Muscle tissues. Connective tissues. Membrane transport. Hormones and receptors. Antibodies. Biochemical techniques including strategies for separation and characterisation of biomolecules. |
