Aim: The course objective is
- to provide the students with in-debth knowledge of design of switch mode converters.
- to enable the student to perform advanced analytical analysis of unknown converter topologies.
- to teach the students practical conciderations on how to design and build converters. |
Contents: Design of magnetic components. Analysis and measurement of small-signal Transfer function - Loop stability. Input- and output impedance. Slope-compensation. Filter design. EMC aspects. Integrated Magnetics.
Presentation of principles for resonant converter topologies.
Presentation of resent research results. Practical considerations w.r.t. construction of - and measurement on switch-mode converters. |
