| Aim: To give basic understanding of engineering aplication of probability and statistics. |
| Contents: Elementary theory of probability, statistical variables, mean, standard deviation and correlation coefficient. Important probability distribution as Binomial, Poisson and Normal distribution. Point estimation, interval estimation and testing of hypotheses for one population (one- and two-sided U-, t- and X²- tests). |
