| Aim: To develop the thermodynamical concepts introduced in Physical Chemistry 1 further. To enable the students to comprehend the thermodynamics, which is necessary for the solution of chemical problems. |
| Contents: Gibbs' phase law. Mixtures (partial molar quantities, activities etc.). Solutions including electrolytes. Phase equilibria (colligative properties, phase diagrams etc.). Chemical reactions (equilibrium constants etc.). Electrochemistry ( galvanic cells). |
