Aim: Applications of non-linear and stochastic dynamics related to ongoing research at the department. |
Contents: Dynamics of railway vehicles with stochastic noise generation. Superconducting electronics with applications to Josephson junctions and high temperature superconducting materials. Crystal growth. Optical communication using optical fibres with stochastic varying refractive index. Material properties and organic thin films at different temperatures. Ultrasonics in anisotropic media. Stochastic differential equations in the theory of financing. |
