Aim: To enable the student to analyze and synthesize integrated circuits for analogue signal processing in CMOS and bipolar technology. |
Contents: Active and passive components in integrated technology. Analogue integrated circuits for continuous-time signal processing: current sources, current mirrors, voltage references, amplifiers, comperators, filters. Analogue integrated circuits for discrete-time signal processing: switched capacitor circuits, switched current circuits. Data converters : A/D, D/A, Sigma/Delta. Design methods for analogue integrated electronics. Component matching, noise, mixed analogue/digital. Current topics of research in integrated analogue electronics at the Department of Information Technology, e.g. current mode signal processing, data converters, smart sensors. |
