Aim: Firstly to give the students grounding of knowledge to understand and take part in discussions on macroeconomics. Secondly to give sufficient preconditions for other more advanced economic courses delivered at DTU.
Contents: A general introduction to economic theory. Importance is the interdependence between enterprices, wage earners and consumers and their relations to government. Theories are used to discussions of actual problems in Danish economy. Relations between theories and interests in different social groups are together with different recommendations for economic policy studied.
