Aim: The aim of the course is to enable the students to:
- describe common machine components, their function and use
- analysis and description of actions on common machine components
- creating calculation models and complete deminsioning of common machine compnents
- selecting machine componentson the basis of analyzing and dimensioning
|

Contents: Methods of analysis and criteria of design of interference-fits, keys and cotters, screw fastenings, springs, ball and roller bearings. Tolerances and fits for diameter and linear measurement. Information about design of journal bearings, gaskets and seals, linear guides, cluthes and brakes, gears, belts and roller chains.
