Aim: - to give an intrduction to and understanding of how to analyse economic data. How to evaluate relevant factors in order to choose between several alternatives, e.g. dicide between alternative products, processes, machines and plants.
- to use si,ple, basic economic methods and technique within economic management.

Contents: 1) Types of companies. Presentation of economic results. Key numbers in economic analysis.
2) Theory of costs. Theory of demands. Adapting to market conditions.
3) Optimization. Linear programming.
4) Investment theory. Economic evaluation of projects.
5) Prices and costs of individual products. Distribution of xosts. Activity based costing.
6) Case studies.
