Aim: To train the student in solving engineering problems, to extent the students knowledge in statics and strength of materials and to examplify for the students hoq their knowledge in mathematics and computer science may be used to solve a problem in statics and strength of materials.
|
Contents: A problem from plane statics and strength of materials will be presented for the students. To solve the problem the students will go through the following steps: problem analysis and specification of tasks, technical requirements and functional requirements, proposals for possivle solutions, cenceptual solution based on analysis of strength and stability of the proposed structure, detailed solution.
