Aim: To provide a background for existing and future systems for electricity, heat, and transport action. The topics are considered from economic, societal and energy view points.
|
Contents: The course deals with energy supply systems on a national as well as a regional level such as systems for supply of elctricity, systems for supply of heat, and transportation systems using busses with storage of energy. Plants for production, transport, and storage of secondary energy will be described. Characteristic properties and limitations of such plants will be discussed and related to time variations of consumer demand with time. Possibilities of influencing the customers demands are discussed.
