Aim: To enable the students to use advanced design tools and methods for analysis of thermal systems

Contents: Steps in design, models for deterministic systems, element models, system models, simulation techniques, analysis and optimization. Design problems are solved in small groups. Use of mathematical formulations of problems and numeric simulations are exemplified by means of standard computer programs and simulation language. Control engineering.
