Aim: To give students an introduction to environmental engineering disciplines that particularly occupies civil engineers.
|
Contents: Fundamental hydrology, chemical aspects in the hydrological cycle. Design, analysis and calculation of systems for urban water supply and urban drainage networks incl. overflows and detention basins. Use of mathematical models including computer models.
Wastewater discharge and waste handling. Both conventional and alternative sanitary engineering methods will be handled.
