Aim: To enable students to handle problems and systems in environmental engineering disciplines that particularly occupies civil engineers.
Contents: Fundamental hydrogeology. Hydrological cycle, wells and water intake.
Quality criteria's (standards) for drinking water. Urban hydrology including planning and dimension of outlets from sewer and stormwater systems.
Models for calculation of consequences of outlet from urban drainage systems incl. overflow and detention basins.
Impact from wastewater outlets on natural waters, especially streams, lakes and coastal areas.
