Aim: The aim of the course is to give the students a basic knowledge of the methods and subjects in traffic planning in order to enable the students to take part in working with traffic planning.
Contents: The extend and composition of the traffic, the need for transport, the traffic system, traffic planning for public transport and for individual transport, traffic analysis and models, safety environment nuisance (traffic noise, air pollution, severance effect etc.), environmental impact assessment, traffic reorganization, economy, legislation.
