Aim: The aim of the course is to enable the student to
* be able to build a small electronic system.
* be able to plan and perform systematic fault finding procedures and measurement of the electrical specifications in the system.
* be able to understand technical drawings as the vehicle for technical communication.
|
Contents: Design a smaller electronic system with the aim of satisfying a given set of specifications.
Design and manufacturing of a printed circuit board (PCB), component mountiing and soldering of the designed PCB.
Fault finding and measuring the specifications for the design, elementary measurement practice.
Together with the electronic design part, lectures in the principles of Technical Drawing, both manually or using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Danish Standard for common drawing rules.
Fundamental tolerance considerations.
