Aim: The aim of this cource is to give the students knowledge and understanding of relevant legal requirements and recommandations for electronis apparatus and to explaine how tests are carried out.
Contents: EU-directives as the machinery directive, the emc directive, the low voltage directive and others. National requirements from other countries. Type approvals. Legal metrology.Reqiurements for green electronics. Mechanical, electrical and climatic testing. Reliability testing. Components testing. Project working on case-studies. Quality management.
