Aim: To make the student able to construct effective and userfriendly user interfaces to instruments, programs and process control systems

Contents: User friendliness. Construction, test and evaluation of userfriendly (useable) instruments an (computerbased) systems.
Dialogs using buttons, sound light, keyboards and displays.
Command-, menu- and windowbased dialogs.
Navigation (selection and feed-back) in the dialog.
Design of display for presentation of data for proces control
Human aspects: Sensing, memory, raction time. Use of color and sound.
